Hump Day Workout…

So yesterday was shoulders, and here is what I have going on for yesterdays workout:

I finished strong with 130 x 5, which is only 15 pounds off my 1 RM, so that isn’t so bad with being 3 weeks into my current cycle of 5/3/1. I would say that likely puts me on track for at least a 10 or more pound increase in my 1 RM for Military Press.

The downside to this weeks workouts thus far is muscle soreness in my legs which is killing me for sure today. They haven’t hurt this bad in quite a while, was a good leg day the other day for sure. Tonight’s workout will likely add a bit of insult to injury in those terms as its deadlift day.

Also been working on the rest of my stuff for my PT Certification, got my CPR/AED stuff done and out of the way, just have to wait for it to be accepted after uploading the certificate.

But all in all it has been a boring week and can’t wait for the weekend to get here for sure.
